Air Fryer Marlin Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh marlin

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 2 teaspoons cumin

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • black pepper to taste

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • dash cayenne pepper

  • 1 small yellow onion, diced small

  • 1 small bunch of cilantro, minced

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1/4 cup almond flour


directions

  1. Add marlin into food processor and pulse until the marlin is broken down and resembles ground beef. Preheat your air fryer.

  2. Put the processed marlin into a bowl and add all spices, onion and cilantro. Mix well.

  3. Mix in the eggs and almond flour.

  4. Portion the mixture into 1/3 cup (press well) burgers, flatten a bit and place into your oiled air fryer.

  5. Air fry the burgers at 380 degrees for about 9-10 minutes. Flip halfway.

  6. Serve with homemade tartar sauce on butter lettuce buns or on a salad with ranch dressing.
